  If you're going to eat chicken you might as well do it right and go cajun. This is the only fast food chicken I'll eat.  I've never been the type who likes more grease than chicken like some those other places.
  
  I love this newest location also the staff were more than helpful and all were smiles and cheerful. I believe I'd rather frequent this location than the other on 10th street!

  Door locked and no new customers allowed in as of at least 9:15pm when I arrived. I witnessed 6 car loads of people try the door and leave prior to 9:30pm. Waited behind 12 cars to go thru drive thru to arrive at the drive thru order screen at 9:31pm. Was told "sold out of tenders", "have some chicken", "no fries" and only two sandwiches left and they had been "premade" and could not be customized. I asked if the food was fresh because I did t understand the "premade" comment at first but came to understand thru the conversation that someone inside decided to premade the sandwiches so they could start cleaning up early. Was told they were "sold out" and can't make more. It's clear they don't want our money.  The entire exchange was very rude and they finally yelled "we are closed".

  Service is awful. Been to location three times now. And each time they're so backed up inside and out. Way behind on food orders. Messing up people's food orders. Being rude to customers. they don't have any thing stocked they were constantly having to go to the back to get things. Workers in the back listening to music dancing around and hugging on each other. All the while food is setting out everywhere yet customers standing around forever waiting. Absolutely terrible service.

  Food is great! I usually use the drive thru but they were lined up so I went inside. The place was filthy! Paper, napkins all over the floor. All that i saw behind the counter was young people. Behind the counter was worse than out In dining room and far as filth. I ordered 5 pc chicken tenders and don't get my biscuit not a napkin or fork to eat my cole slaw with! I didn't call the store about it because they would have just offered me something free! I don't care about free food....what I care about is my order being correct!

  I'm a cliched Southern woman in many ways. I like my peanuts boiled, my tea sweet, and my chicken fried. Popeyes does fried chicken right, especially for fast food. I really like their spicy bone-in chicken and buttery biscuits. Their sides are mostly forgettable, except for the red beans and rice, which aren't bad for fast food.
  
  This location is okay, but seems to fall short of my expectations on most of my visits. It's always clean and the staff is always pretty friendly. However, on my last visit, they ran out of some spicy pieces. They had no regular apple pies and also forgot items of the order. They had the standard music playing in the dining area over the speakers, but the kitchen staff also had their own music playing behind the counter and it was loud. I'm not easily offended at all, but it was inappropriate for that setting, annoying, and was definitely offensive to the retired couple behind me. I hope the manager addresses that. Other than those few complaints, it's A-okay for some good and quick chicken.
